This is going to be an ongoing article dedicated specifically for Gen-Z

A little introduction:

Generation Z, or Gen-Z, refers to individuals born between the mid-1990s and the mid-2010s. These talented and passionate young adults are now entering the workforce and facing unique challenges. The challenges?

  • They are not aware of anything at all regarding the corporate world.
  • They are not educated enough on how to use their skills into the practical world.
  • They are expected to have a mass skill set starting from even the most beginner level roles.
  • The emotional intelligence knowledge has actually been skipped in their courses! Literally. They have been taught only the hard skills with no knowledge on how to develop their soft skills.
  • The soft skills courses that have been supposedly ‘taught well’ are below par!

This transition from academia to the corporate world has been mentally exhausting for these young chaps. And we very well know why yet we were the quickest in labelling this generation ‘difficult’ to work with.

One thing that Gen-Z does strongly hold power in is the skill of realizing their self-worth and not taking any injustice at work!

So, what can be done? Stay tuned for the next article.
